4. Methodology

We will have a reading passage, which has a lot of information on a topic, so that the information will be very hard to ‘digest’ and is taxing on the subject’s brain in terms of memory and understanding. This reading passage will then be printed in three versions. The first group, with the font Happy Monkey will be given to ten people. The second group, the control with the font Arial, will be given to ten people. The third and final group, will be given to ten people with the font Dancing Script. All the respondents from the groups will then be timed in reading the passage. Then they list down as many facts found in the text. Next, we will then get them to do the Relative Subjective Duration Test. Participants will not be informed of anything else other than to complete whatever’s in front of them.
